Deep Sea Fishing is Easy
NO EXPERIENCE, NO PROBLEM: Fishing is our passion and the water is our home. We love introducing first timers to deep sea fishing in the waters off Fort Lauderdale.
WE PROVIDE FISHING EQUIPMENT: We supply everything you need to fish. If you are going out on a daytime trip, we recommend bringing a hat, some sunscreen and a pair of polarized sunglasses so you can see down into the water better.
THERE ARE SNACKS & DRINKS ON BOARD: The Flamingo also have Drinks & Snacks available for purchase. You are also permitted to bring your own food and drinks. For safety reasons we ask that you do not bring glass bottles on the boat. Cans and plastic containers are fine.
You may bring some beers or wine coolers. We DO NOT permit hard liquor aboard the boat for Drift Fishing. Please limit the number of beers on our Family focused fishing trips.
CLEAN FACILITIES WHEN YOU NEED TO TAKE A BREAK: The Flamingo is equipped with a glass enclosed lounge out of the weather. The boat has clean restroom with separate ladies facilities.
YOU KEEP THE FISH YOU CATCH: All fish you catch is yours to keep, they only have to meet the State of Florida size regulations. Our crew members will be glad to instruct you on the use of the equipment, bait your hooks and take your fish off. The mates DO work for tips and are always happy to filet your fish for you.
We are conveniently located near the Bahia Mar Resort and Restaurant. If you dine there the Chefs will happily cook your catch! You can't get much fresher than that!
WE LIKE RECORD BREAKERS: If you catch a big game fish, our crew can put you in touch with local taxidermists that do great work.
WE LEAVE THE DOCK ON TIME: Please get to the boat about ½ hour before it is scheduled to leave. This gives you time to get settled and meet the crew.
CHILDRENS PARTIES: For Birthdays, why not plan that party on board the Flamingo. Think about it! Can you give a child who loves fishing a better gift than the opportunity of chance with the sea?. A tug of war with nature. Nothing impresses a youngster more than catching that first fish. The Flamingo crew members know how to give that young angler a memory that will last forever.
